KRR Engineering Highlights Its 2018 Technology Transfer (TOT) Agreement with CSIR–NAL

KRR Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is pleased to highlight one of the most important milestones in its autoclave technology journey — the Technology Transfer (TOT) agreement signed with CSIR–National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR–NAL) in 2018.

Although the partnership began several years ago, its impact continues to shape our capabilities and advancements in aerospace-grade composite curing autoclaves, which today serve leading organisations across India.

A Milestone That Built Today’s Autoclave Expertise

The 2018 TOT provided KRR with:

• Proven CSIR–NAL design architecture

• Composite curing thermal profiles

• Pressure–vacuum–heating–cooling control sequences

• Autoclave safety interlock logic

• Process know-how for advanced composite manufacturing

This foundational knowledge accelerated KRR’s entry into aerospace autoclave engineering and enabled the development of reliable, high-precision autoclaves serving R&D labs, defence agencies and private space companies.

The Journey from 2018 to Today

Since receiving the TOT, KRR has:

• Delivered multiple lab-scale and industrial composite autoclaves

• Collaborated with institutions such as ISRO, NAL, IITs, Skyroot Aerospace, Azista and others

• Enhanced control systems through advanced SCADA/PLC automation

• Introduced next-generation compact autoclaves, desktop models and custom systems

• Strengthened manufacturing capabilities for large-format autoclaves

This milestone remains one of the cornerstones of our innovation roadmap.
